MEIKO shows a firework of ideas at the Host trade fair in Milan. At the #meikoinnovationweek, 5 top innovations are presented - new dishwashers, a new food waste system, new dishwashing chemistry and a new drying system for washing plastic dishes in bonnet dishwashers.

What's even more important than an industry award? "That's easy: customers who love our machines!" says Lars Urban, managing director of Meiko Deutschland GmbH, which specialises in hygiene technology and food waste treatment systems. Fortunately, the news that Meiko had won gold in the 2023 edition of a prestigious trade magazine's cooking awards combined the best of both worlds: "We basically won it thanks to our customers. They were the ones who voted for Meiko in the competition run by the trade journal "Cooking+Catering inside" – and it was them who ranked our Meiko M-iQ BlueFire in the top spot!"

German machine builder Meiko recently set up a Meiko Korea market organisation to help expand its business in Asia. By establishing a presence in Seoul, the company has boosted its ability to serve the local market and satisfy growing demand in the region. Meiko is represented in South Korea by general manager Jun Kim, and its portfolio already includes a number of well-known Korean companies.
