Meiko has a new online platform, the Meiko experience zone, and it is much more than just a virtual showroom. Users can browse planning case studies and a library of expertise, accessing knowledge delivered using explainer videos and archived livestream footage from events and trade shows like MEDICA 2021 in Düsseldorf.

The 25th Food Service Industry Contribution Award ceremony took place on September 16th. The prestigious award is presented in several categories by the Japan Food Journal in cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries.

More and more people are becoming infected with the coronavirus. Hospitals no longer have enough capacities and China is responding to this by building emergency hospitals. State media report that the first emergency hospital in Wuhan will be opened today. It was built in a record time of eight days by 7,500 workers. China had experiences with the SARS virus as early as 2003 and the plans for the construction projects at that time served as a template for the current situation.

Prior to MEIKO moving an innovation into series production, it must pass a final quality check: the load test in the MEIKO development lab. And this is not exactly for the feint hearted. This is because MEIKO insists on simulating the real conditions that prevail at the customer premises as closely as possible. Even if this testing programme goes far beyond the specifications laid down in the standards, as it was the case with the M-iClean H automatic hood system.
